KONDURA - A Hidden Beach Paradise in Konkan

Konkan comes from two Sanskrit words - Kona (corner) and Kan (piece), and refers to a thin strip of costal area from Mumbai to Goa. The Konkan in Maharashtra is an absolutely amazing and less explored part, especially by those living outside Maharashtra, and I recently explored a part of it with my friends. 

This video is the first in a three part series of my explorations in Konkan, and in this video I explore a hidden beach called Kondura!

    Hi Sid,

    I just read your blog post about Kondura Beach and I'm so glad I did! I visited Kondura a few years ago and it was one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. The water was crystal clear, the sand was white and soft, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. I loved that it was such a hidden gem, and I didn't see many other people there.

    I especially enjoyed your tips on how to get to Kondura. I remember that it was a bit of a trek, but it was definitely worth it. I also appreciated your suggestions for things to do in the area. I ended up spending a few days exploring the nearby villages and hiking in the hills.

    Thanks for sharing your experience of Kondura with me. It brought back such fond memories!
