Goodbye iPhone 7 Plus...hello iPhone 8 Plus!

My iPhone 7 Plus has been my friend, a secret-keeper and often my weapon of choice for photography for a while now. Yes, it has an amazing camera and I have used it extensively to cover destinations, like Varanasi recently, as well for make travel videos. A mobile feature which I have come to love a lot, even though it was only in beta till recently, is portrait mode (read more: portrait mode in iPhone 7 Plus). However, for me the camera isn't the only reason why the device is such an integral part of my life, but also how everything else works on it. What exactly is everything else? It's the apps and the very consistent and pleasing user experience across them all, the speed (iPhone is by far the fastest phones in the market), the simplicity of form and design and simply the way the phone feels in my hands (though I must mention that my hands are not that big, and the phone does feel big when making calls).

But it's time to say goodbye to my beloved to phone and move on to something else. However, before I move on, here are some pictures and videos taken over the last few months across the cities and  towns and cities I've been visiting. Videos with iPhone 7 Plus

If videos are what you like to make, here are a few of those as well - all completely shot and edited on iPhone 7 Plus!

So what next?

Well, the answer is simple and for those of you who know me, also predictable. I am moving on to the top of the line and currently the highest rated iPhone - iPhone 8 Plus (256 GB obviously).

Here's the first portrait I took with my phone, and I must say I am absolutely blown away by the colors and the clarity of the picture!

Why?
Well, for foremost reason is that I love to have the most updated devices in my arsenal, and two I really want to try out all the new updates in the camera, as well as review the performance of the A11 bionic chip.

Here's a great video comparing the iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus.

Anyway, here are the first few shots of the device taken with another iPhone 8 Plus! Stay tuned for more :)

  4. Wonderful photography, but there is not much difference in iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus's cameras.
I own Galaxy S 8 plus and iPhone 7 Plus and believe me there are enormous number of changes that Apple need to do in their camera app, specially low light capability

But delighted to look into your photos
    Keep it up
