Mumbai kid to make history with on-board flight announcement!

We dream all our life, but it's actually as a child that our dreams take flight and knows no boundaries! Most kids can dream big, and some can even make history with their dreams. A young schoolboy from Mumbai, Yashas Dassani, did just that and will soon be doing something for which he will be remembered for long. This is the story of Yashas and how he made his dream come true :)

It all started when Yashas' parents enrolled him and put his entry for the global kids’ competition Lufthansa Your Announcement – where Lufthansa were looking the most creative and delightful flight announcement entries from kids from across the globe. Yashas not only charmed everyone with his persona, he also proved himself to be an able public speaker.

Yashas had always dreamt of flying off to far away place with his parents, and with this competition there was hope that he would be able to fulfill it. With hope there was competition as well from kids from 9 different countries and after his steller performance (see video here), he had his fingers crossed!

Soon his hard work and prayers came true when one fine day in school, Yashas was visited by the Lufthansa team to give him some brilliant news.  They congratulated him in front of his entire class for winning a prestigious competition and making history and handed him a big certificate and a big box of goodies. His joy knew no bounds and he this win gave him memories which will probably last a lifetime.

The big prize? Yashas will fly with his parents and make the on board announcement on an international Lufthansa flight, bound to a destination of his choice - somewhere in Europe. He will be the youngest aspiring crew member on the Lufthansa plane who will make an on board announcement. It's surely going to be quite a surprise for his co-passengers and one that they will surely remember for quite sometime.
