Having a cool time with cool goggles :) |
Ganesh Visarjan is that time of the year when almost the entire city of Mumbai is on the streets to bid adieu to Lord Ganesha after ten days of prayers. And the procession is unlike any other in the entire country. Pune is great as well, though Mumbai has vibes unlike any other place.
I happened to be here today purely by chance. So while I was in the city, I decided to participate in the procession with my camera :)

One thing that really struck me was the variety of the styles that the men flaunted and so decided to share some of those as the first post from the event.
As I write this, I can also hear the drums beating outside my hotel as the Gods are getting ready to be immersed in Colaba. I think I will sleep with the sounds all around me...and its a good sound indeed :)
