Pune street photography: fruits
So far street photography in Pune has been rather challenging for me. I have spent more than an year here, yet I have rarely ever gone out on the streets and use my camera. I can brood forever about this, but I will let it pass. For now.
Anyway, I was there recently for some work, but thankfully had my camera with me. I will be sharing a series of three posts on street photography on three distinct themes - fruits, vegetables & spices and people (of course)!

Some gorgeous pomegranate! |
This post simply covers a few good looking images of a few good looking fruits on the street here. I had the 50mm prime lens on my camera, so many are just close ups :)
All of these shots have been taken around the Mandai area and Shanipar temple in the old city. The weather was with me, and the light was really lovely even at noon!
I would drove to hear from you all :)
Jack fruit is eaten as a fruit here, unlike north India where its made into a vegetable |
Here it is - Jack the fruit :) |
