Panjim (Panaji) was a small town before the Portuguese moved their capital here from Old Goa. Its now a lovely old town with charming streets and lanes. Each building is beautifully colored and reminds one of its past - the architectural style is colonial Portuguese.
Its priceless to walk through the street and capture life. Sharing a few of my favorite ones here...

DeleteThanks for visiting my blog; now I have found yours. India is on the travel list - maybe one day.
ReplyDeleteLove the shot with the blue wall, and the guys workng on the 'scaffolding'. British Health and Safety would have a heart attack looking at it! Will keep visiting.
Thanks John! I am sure anyone in the west will get a heart attack looking at the scaffolding...however, this is fairly commonplace here :)
DeleteFantastic photos! I love the colors and history of the this place. That scaffolding looks pretty scary!
