Street photography in Melbourne - Part One

Collection of a few images from my long and often solitary walks on Melbourne's streets...

This is just part one and I will follow it up with another small collection soon.

There is loads that one can recommend in the street, I would actually recommend an amazing and often underrated suburb - Fitzroy. It's sheer joy to walk on the streets there abc hop into any cafe of bar...they are all so awesome :)

Do all the touristy things but do it all on foot or in the free city tram - City Curcle. These are old trams now renovated into free tourist friendly urban free public transportation. Only two problems - they don't go everywhere (fixed and limited route) abs they stop service at six on weekdays.

Fitzroy - my favorite suburb in the city, and its walking distance from the city center.
Walk here for great coffee, amazing beer, and most of all the very youthful vibe!

Fitzroy - the place is full of food places from all over - Indian, Greek, Italian, Asian and so on.

Melbourne and coffee go hand in hand, the city has some wonderful coffee and cafes!
Some are very old (as old as the city itself)...its worth exploring them all if you love coffee :)

Melbourne also scores high on street art, and art also inspires some uninhibited love :)

    1. Thanks Saumitra for your feedback, I really appreciate it...

At times one ends up with compositions which break these rules - to crop out other distracting elements, unplanned quick shot, and sometimes simply to break the monotony of following the rules - or rather experimenting with new ways to capturing events...

  3. The real Melbourne lies in its lane-ways.
