Sagrada Familia - Antoni Gaudí's gift to mankind!

A few shots from my most favourite place in Barcelona - Sagrada Familia!

Everything about the place is beautiful - Gaudi's design philosophy and his inspiration from nature, the lovely columns inside reaching the sky, the carvings on the facade, and of course the structure of the church itself.

More than everything else, I really appreciate the design audacity of Gaudi. Its unbelievable that in the late 19th Century he could convince the city into buying into his exceptional dream project. Hats off to the master!

    1. Hey Anita thanks a lot :)

I have lived in Delhi...in fact before moving here I worked there! I quite like the city, though my biggest advice would be to be safe first and let adventure take a back seat, especially if you traveling alone. If you like history, monuments are spread around the entire city from different dynasties who ruled the city...go to the Qutab complex, Purana Qila etc if you like historical ruins :)

Food is also good there, but go slow on the spices :) All the best and you can write to me at connect@siddharthajoshi.com if you are looking for more specific tips!

  9. I think that the only appropriate word here is "Wow!" although it's already been used. Wonderful snaps, Sidds.
