My association

My association with Nautica started just before I left for Africa when they offered to fund some of my adventure gear. It was warm still here, but I knew it would get cold on the volcanic mountains of Rwanda, so decided to pick a cool jacket to provide me warmth while trekking!

With Nautica in Africa

I travelled in two different countries in Africa, Rwanda and Ethiopia, and used the jacket at both the places. However, the highlight of the trip was meeting the Gorillas in the wild in the Volcanoes National Park in the northern part of the country and Nautica was my constant partner there.

Here are a few mini-stories of Nautica and me :)

Nautica at Addis Ababa airport (my first selfie in Africa): It got cold at the airport and I decided to wear the jacket right there, and practically wore it constantly over the next ten days.

Nautica in Kigali: Rwanda has the best sky one can find in the entire world and this is also one of the only places where I asked my friend Cansu to take a picture of me :)

Nautica with Gorillas at Volcanoes National Park: Gorillas were the highlight of my trip and on this cold and wet morning, my jacket kept me warm and dry. Unfortunately I wasn't wearing good pants and my legs were covered in mini-wounds from the stinging nettles throughout the trek.

Nautica in the caves: Musanze caves are pretty unexplored and it was quite an experience to do some adventurous caving there :)

Nautica on a Crater Lake: I climbed up on Mount Bisoke (a volcano) to see Crater Lake. It was sunny when we started but by the time we reached on top, it was all foggy and extremely cold! The image does no justice to the beauty of the place...

Nautica on my quest for coffee in Ethiopia: I walked through the streets of Addis Ababa in my quest to find the best coffee in town and Nautica was my constant companion! It was cold and fun :)

Nautica Winter collection 2014

I can completely imagine that you must be extremely tired of looking at all these weird selfies (I have never posted so many of these in one post), so here is showing you some good stuff next!

Check out Nautica's 2014 Winter Collection and pick out some of the stuff yourself. I can completely recommend the brand to you, especially for adventure and travel wear. The stuff is light, smart and cool! Even a zero-fashion guy like me actually enjoyed the stuff they have in store this winter season :)
