Street Photography in San Francisco

It took me a while to take out my camera and start clicking, and even after spending a couple of weeks here, I am yet to feel comfortable with the camera in my hand. And I guess that even shows in the pictures I click, I am much more restrained in what I click, who I chose as my subject.

Just like any other place, there are some extremely beautiful moments to capture even here…but I am apprehensive to explore, only slowing getting into the mode of a stealth photographer :)

In any case here are some images I clicked over the past two weekends. I haven’t yet ordered the regular 18-55mm lens, so everything is clicked with a zoom lens.

  1. Nice shots. I don't think you are the only one when it comes to shooting people. I don't do much street stuff either - even though I really like it. I gotta work on the bravery a bit :)

  2. Wow that was a quick feedback Barlow! I am always learning from others on street photography...and its so much fun, unless you get screamed at :)

I used to be extremely brave back home in India, not sure about this place though! Learning to ignore weird gazes..

  3. Hey there,

I really love these shots. Street photography is something that I have dabbled in, thought I am not very good at it.

I just love how natural everything is when you shoot like this.

    Great work!
