Melancholic in Stavanger...

Some days are difficult, others even more so. But life moves on, even if the wounds don't heal as easily. This was one of those evenings on a cold evening in Stavanger. We just finished the final round of beer in a lovely old cafe on the most colorful street of Stavanger - Ovre Holmegate, and were on our way back home, but my mind and my heart were both diverted, sad and almost depressed.

Does it happen to you also? When you travel?

However, isn't it interesting how images make it look like a lovely night with lovely people, on the streets of an exotic city far far away from home?

Should we even trust images?

    1. Absolutely...they can be very deceptive. They anyway show only one side of the story, and the story often has so many more sides...

    2. Pictures are not deceptive.. Pictures just give you view to think of .... what you think out of it is on what your state of mind is.. Isn't it?

    1. That's true. Or sometimes we think travel will be a solution to our problems, but then get disappointed when it isn't...
