A weekend with Taj InnerCircle’s Epicure Membership at Taj Lands End, Mumbai

It was certainly quite a pleasant surprise to bump into Ruchi over my Sunday breakfast at Taj Lands End, after meeting her and her family after years over dinner a couple of days back.

"What are you doing here Ruchi! Do you live here at Taj?", I asked her with a smile.

"Well we are on a workcation right now here at Taj. We had accumulated so many points from our previous visits that we decided to spend the long weekend here. Plus the little girls love it here - it's like their second home.", she explained.

I parted with a really happy smile. I was glad with my own decision to have become an Epicure member as part of Taj Innercircle. I knew such a workacation was something I would also love to have :)

But what exactly is Epicure?

Well, Taj InnerCircle is the loyalty programme of the Taj Hotels group and is the largest of its kind in the entire country! Within that, there is a membership program called Epicure, encompassing the best that the Taj has to offer, experiences spanning from dine, drink, stay, spa and redemption! They have recently relaunched this programme on Taj InnerCircle’s digital and social platform.

The program is valid at 80 hotels in India and 16 hotels around the globe! Intrigued? Read further :)

My stay at Taj Lands End with Epicure programme

So when Taj InnerCircle invited me to experience the benefits of the Epicure program at one of their best properties in Mumbai, Taj Lands End, I simply couldn't resist. I had been travelling non-stop for a while, so decided to use a weekend simply to relax in Mumbai and enjoy all the privileges which come with the membership, and explore a few Mumbai landmarks within walking distance from the hotel. My previous trips to Mumbai had been spend exploring offbeat places, but this one was simply meant to do nothing.

Early morning reflection

Over almost the next three days, I was pampered with great food, the legendary Taj hospitality, and some excellent views of the city. What's even more awesome is that with every rupee spent, you also accumulate points which you can redeem later. Pretty cool, eh!

Here's a short video to give you a flavour of my experience there :)

So what was my favourite part of the hotel experience?
Well, it's got to be the excellent therapy session at the Jiva spa. It was so relaxing that I actually slept during the session and got up completely rejuvenated. In fact I would strongly recommend the spa experience to all Taj guests, and guess what, you can even earn some points with your spa session. Read further to know more :)
