Afghanistan like you've never seen it before!
It pains my heart that whenever we see or read about Kabul in Afghanistan, we only think about terrorism, blood and death. But the city is much more than just that even if the mainstream media would like us to believe in just that. With a history of more than 3500 years, it is now world's 64th biggest and 5th fastest growing city!
Here it is: Afghanistan like you've never seen it before - a photo-story from Kabul!
So I am here to break some common misconceptions about the city which is stunningly beautiful, through these images by my friend Habib whom I interviewed early this year. I encourage you all to look through these images with love and share them with your family and friends to break the image that the media wants us to have.

Over etc the years the city has been through many phases of destruction and reconstruction, and inshallah tough times won't last forever and the city will be restored to it's past glory. I hope with time old wounds will be healed and the city will rise like a phoenix from the ashes.
Amen!

To many of us Afghanistan seems like a far away and dangerous country, but there are many who make their way there and live to tell us the tales. Here's a brilliant article from someone who has been there a few times and knows the country quite well: The Ultimate Guide to travel in Afghanistan.
