Top Travel Blog from India: Big Thank you!
It was a couple of years back when I first saw The Wanderer mentioned as a Top Travel Blog from India, and I must confess that I was more surprised than happy. I was't even sure about what it meant and was actually embarrassed to even share it with friends. Just shared the link with a couple of my close friends and didn't even put it on Facebook.
However, more than anything else, it was an inspiration to write more and share on the blog more regularly. As I did that, more accolades came my way and I was humbled by them all. Just recently a post by Scroll.in was also featured by National Geographic India Traveller also, and it's these wonderful things which have made my journey so memorable.
Inspired by all the love, I also started a video Travel Channel, and I invite you to subscribe to it as well for more travel stories from India.
So I finally decided to write a Thank You post! This goes out to not just those who featured me but also to all you guys who read my blog regularly and allow me some amazing indulgences :)
I have a long way to go as a Travel Blogger and I must confess that doing all this along with a full-time job is hell lot of work. Almost all my weekends are spent travelling, writing and generating other travel and photography related content. It's a super-busy life and I completely love it :)
Finally, here are some of accolades from this year for this blog and my year-long project on Instagram - Tell me your Dream! I have kept the list to only this year, else it might look like a bragging list. As you look through the list, do read about the other amazing people mentioned in these. I know almost all of them personally as well and they are a huge source of inspiration for me, every time I travel or write travel stories. You can read more about others here.
