Singapore! Here I come...again :)

As I sit at the Mumbai airport and plan the last few details of my itinerary for my second trip to Singapore, I thought it would be really awesome to share some of my plans and get some feedback and suggestions from you all :)

Singapore, officially the Republic of Singapore, is celebrating it's fiftieth anniversary this year and I have been invited by the Singapore Tourism Board to participate in some of these festivities and share my experiences. The fact that this year Singapore has also been rated at the Top ten countries for travel by Lonely Planet, only adds to my excitement as I embark on another trip to the island country.

I start my visit in the next few hours and I already have some plans. To many my plans might sound odd as they are a mix (as always) of adventure, food and culture. So here are the three things that I have planned and I am really excited about :)

1. The Southern Ridges Trekking

The Southern Ridges is a 10-kilometre stretch of green open spaces spanning the hills of some of Singapore’s most popular parks and gardens, connected by picturesque ridges and pathways.

2. Megazip

You can zip down one of the longest and steepest zipwire descents in Asia on this 450-meter long flying fox. The stunning views of Sentosa and beyond before landing on a scenic islet are the highlight of the adventure!

3. A night walk in Chinatown

I am a history buff and love to explore cities through the elements that survive from it's past. In Singapore, I am doing this through a night-walk in China town. Why night? Well you need to wait till I come back with an account :)

A lot of these exciting stories would be coming up soon on my Travel Channel as well, so do not forget to SUBSCRIBE below :)

Singapore Air is flying me this time and I am actually looking forward to not just the flight experience, but also a tour of something really exciting - can't reveal it right now, though I promise to write about it very soon :)

If you are also planning a trip to Singapore, you must visit their official website, Your Singapore, and explore for places there. Everything is neatly organised into categories and there are a number of posts on multiple different experiences there. I was actually quite surprised by the number of things-to-do, considering the size of the country!

This year Singapore tourism and their national airline, Singapore Airlines, are coming together to commemorate the 50 years of its independence. There is lots planned, and there is much for travellers like me who thrive on great deals! I will personally try out some of these and share my experiences.

Keep looking out at this space for more!
