Agra: the city without colours - Part I

It is generally believed that the current day Agra was established in the year 1504 AD, though the area was inhabited since 1000 BC as per some historical records. With its rich Mughal heritage, the town is always considered to be the home of the majestic Taj Mahal which was built by Emperor Shah Jehan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Starting a small series on my trip to Agra a while back...

Since I am in quite a black and white mode, the entire series would be called Agra: the city without colours :)

I would love to hear more from you all!

You took me back ...along the memory line...when it was the era of black and white photography....I have few of the photos of me, 4 years of age posing in-front of Taj Mahel in 1981....all those black and white lovely memories came up .....which are somewhere forgotten in this digitalized world..... thanks Siddhartha :)
