The Great Ocean Road, Victoria

The Great Ocean Road is one of the most iconic natural landmarks of Australia, though I learnt about it only when I goggled about it (just the Saturday before the actual road trip).

Its a long drive, but it's fabulous beyond description. You have to be there to actually experience the ride as well as the numerous beautiful spots on the way...The Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, many lovely towns by the sea...

  9. A beautiful place and beautiful photos of them. I understand that they are eroding rapidly and there is already less than 12 still standing. Still, it is an amazing place.

    1. Thanks Pat! Yes you are right, they are eroding fast...

In fact there were never twelve, the legend started much later to attract tourism :) There are only seven now...i think currently only seven left..
